Residents Urged to Report Bulky Waste Before Leaving It Out
Orihuela Costa residents are being encouraged to report bulky household waste and garden refuse before leaving it out for collection, following the launch of an improved reporting system designed to make collections faster and more efficient.
The new service allows residents to report bulky waste collections, street cleaning issues and other environmental concerns online, including the option to upload photographs and pinpoint the exact location. By reporting waste before it is left outside, collection crews can plan their routes more effectively and respond more quickly.
The council says that although thousands of bulky waste collections take place every month across Orihuela Costa, only a small percentage are requested in advance. Better use of the reporting system will help improve the service and reduce the amount of waste left on streets and pavements.
Residents are reminded not to leave furniture, mattresses, garden cuttings or other bulky items on the roadside without first requesting a collection. Doing so can create an eyesore, cause obstructions and may lead to enforcement action.
Residents can contact the waste collection service using the following details:
📞 Bulky Waste Collection: 965 306 178
📧 Email: aseourbano@orihuela.es
🌐 Website: https://orihuelalimpia.com

📱 WhatsApp / Telephone: 649 900 304
👮 Orihuela Costa Local Police: 965 300 204

Keeping Las Vistas and the surrounding Orihuela Costa area clean is everyone's responsibility. By reporting bulky waste before leaving it out and using the correct collection services, residents can help keep our community tidy, attractive and environmentally friendly for everyone.
